The Tell-Show strategy: Monster description
The monster was frightening. It was the size of the Burj Khalifa. The monster's head was the size of a camel truck. It was covered in thick and dirty hair. The hair was brown like the colour of sand dunes at night time. The monster's teeth were incredibly white. They were as white as the snow in the Arctic. The monster had millions of teeth all poking out from his mouth just like dates poking out behind the leaves of a palm tree. It's hands were like two huge coconut shells and as sharp as a razor. The monsters legs were like tree trunks and as it walked, it's tailed swished angrily snapping trees with one touch.

Thursday = Reading Book
Remember, tomorrow is our silent reading lesson. You can read one of the books from the library box just like last week or you can bring in your own English book from home.
As long as it is morally and culturally appropriate, you can read anything from a story book to a science text book! Read something that interests you.

Important Information
As you are all aware, there has been a huge delay with receiving the fluency books (which all students received yesterday), the reading books (especially 'Danger at Misty Mountain' which the majority of students still are missing) and the workbooks.
For this reason, 6 G3have continued working through the Language and Practice Books and moved on into Unit 2. This unit has been excellent in allowing the girls to read non-fiction text and answering comprehension questions.
However, please be advised Unit 2 will not be assessed. It is merely being used as consolidation to the work studied in Unit 1.
Hopefully, by the start of next week, everyone will have received their books and we will be able to catch up with the Yearly Plan.
